Crafting Sustainable Art: A Sneak Peek into My Journey for the ShadowBall Fashion Show

Many t-shirts available to repurpose and upcycle! Raw materials waiting to be transformed!

🌟 Greetings, fashion and art enthusiasts! I'm thrilled to share a sneak peek into my upcoming venture at the ShadowBall Fashion Show, presented by Triveni Institute. Remember the Trashion Revolution in May 2023? Well, I'm back to weave more magic, this time with a focus on sustainability and mental health.

*My Sustainable Design Journey:*

In this latest endeavor, I'm crafting a runway look entirely from upcycled and found materials. Picture this: knit t-shirts and sturdy cotton pants being reborn as a breathtaking piece of art. It's my way of showcasing that fashion can be both stunning and eco-friendly. I am creating a new textile using the old materials. I am considering making piping out of the scraps or possible doing some type of pleating. I am letting the materials and the mood speak to me in this creative process!

*Connecting Mental Health and Fashion:*

ShadowBall isn't just about fashion; it's a canvas for exploring mental health narratives. My design delves into the intricate emotions of living with a rare chronic illness. From disbelief to stoicism, each stitch tells a story of resilience and metamorphosis.

**Experience a Tapestry of Creativity:**

This event isn't just about my runway look; it's a collective celebration of sustainable fashion. Joining me on this creative journey are talented designers who, like me, have crafted runway looks from upcycled or found materials. Together, we aim to challenge norms and redefine the fashion narrative.

🌟 But that's not all! Prepare to be captivated as renowned crochet designer Scottie Rae Eskelund headlines the show. With his extraordinary crochet designs, Scottie promises a raw and provocative exploration of human subconscious shadows. His work is a testament to the transformative power of art, encouraging deep reflection on the human experience.
